Chapter 9- Barrels out of Bonds The very next day after being captured by spiders the whole party except Bilbo becomes captured by Wood-elves. Bilbo does not become captured because he wears his secret ring. The dwarves stay in prison for a few days and then Bilbo discovers a way to rescue the dwarves. Bilbo decides to put the dwarves into barrels and send them afloat into the river. The very next day, Bilbo executed his plan and packed the dwarves into the barrels with some straw. After this, Bilbo climbs onto a barrel and sends himself afloat on the barrel too. |
